What we’re looking for:
This role is responsible for helping create and manage the social media & digital presence for the Fior Di Sole brands. You act as the voice for our brands and will ensure all digital marketing efforts reflect the various brand standards. You will report directly into the Manager, Digital and Social Media and interface regularly with all levels of Marketing, including the Director of Marketing, President, Marketing Managers, Design and Sales teams. You are creative, enthusiastic and artistic! You will oversee our website and online pages, create and manage social media accounts, complete program recaps and manage email marketing and newsletter content. You will assist with wine club and e-commerce communication support, and perform digital maintenance and PR for our brands and those of our clients. Attention to detail and a strongly cultivated sense of who we are is critical in this role. It really helps if you love wine and food and understand and advocate for those cultures!
This is a full-time position with benefits. Please note, this is not a remote position and requires full-time presence in our Napa headquarters.
You will:
– Work closely with the Creative Manager and Marketing Manager on digital content/support.
– Create all social media posts and ensure strict adherence to brand ideology (both company and client) and themes and align all to be in direct support of current campaigns and standards. Incorporate a wide range of media including photography, videography, copywriting, and other design work to support brands and the creation of marketing materials.
– Create and roll out an annual social media calendar highlighting brand, new releases and special events.
– Work in tandem with the marketing team to author and publish reviews and monitor/respond to social media posts (Yelp, Google, Trip Advisor, etc.).
– Work with Marketing Manager to grow presence and manage content on social media channels (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
– Understand current social trends and remain up to date on news and information across the wine industry.
– Organize, publish and update all digital content resources for our brands.
– Create and maintain email, newsletters and promotional collateral.
– Create, maintain and/or update retail pages on company/client websites and develop and manage website/website hosting for controlled brands as contracted/required.
– Develop, update/maintain and manage brand websites and communicate with outside vendors as needed to maintain online presence for our brands.
– Work with marketing management to grow membership via digital outreach, special promotions, etc.
– Collect and track email signups and data relating to advertising and marketing campaigns.
– Report out regularly to senior staff on progress and pitch ideas. Suggest corrective modifications of digital/social media presence as appropriate.
– Represent the company in person at local, regional, national industry trade shows and events.
You have:
– 2-4 yrs of social and digital media experience
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Humanities or business administration is a plus.
– Proficiency across digital and content creation platforms. Experience with SEO, Facebook ads, and email marketing. Adobe Suite and MS Office skills essential. Skills in videography and photography are essential.
– Ability to produce visual and written work of the highest quality and attention to detail.
– Experience in corporate marketing; winery marketing not required but a huge plus.
– Proven use/solid experience with Google Analytics
– Website development and expertise in different web platforms such as WordPress, Wix, etc.
– Experience in video/photography development & editing including filming of brand videos, tasting videos, Zoom events, and social media clips.
– Strong experience and ability with graphic design software including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Image Read, and Adobe Dreamweaver.
– Strong oral and written communications skills
– Ability to identify and cultivate new avenues for brand enrichment and create programming to reach diverse audiences.
– Ability to develop concepts into executable ideas/campaigns in support of our brands.
– Proficiency in MS Office; ability to work in both Mac and PC environments a plus.
– Must be able to travel between locations and have an active California’s driver’s license.
– Must be fully fluent in English; fluency or ability in Spanish (or Italian!) a plus
